Seattle under pressure from all angles; and like the “rose that grew from concrete” life will not be stopped. There is a tremendous amount of social and structural change underway and the people are applying pressure to the status quo. And like any social, grassroots movement either, it is given a channel for the pressure to release–in this case accommodating the social impetus–or it breaks through in unforeseen ways and change occurs regardless of the lack of accommodations, just like these sewers releasing the pent-up pressure from within.

I write poems and I am a hip hop artist. Rap is poetry, it just tends to have specific meters. However, remove the music and sometimes it is difficult to tell the difference, save for the rhyming patterns that often accompany the style.

I have. But, for now, I am working on a major project called “Rappers Equal Nerds” that is much bigger than an album. So far, so good.
